The City of Fernley's Online Permit Center allows residents, businesses, contractors, developers, engineers, surveyors, and property owners to submit applications, track project status, request inspections, and communicate with City staff online.
The portal serves as the City's primary platform for Building, Planning, and Business Licensing services. Applications may be submitted, supporting documents uploaded, fees paid (where applicable), and application status monitored throughout the review process.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
Please review all application requirements carefully before beginning your submission.
Applicants are encouraged to prepare all required plans, exhibits, supporting documents, and application materials before starting the application process. Incomplete applications may result in delays in processing or requests for additional information.
Not all application types are currently available for online submission. If the application type you are seeking is not available within the portal, please contact the appropriate department for assistance.
INSPECTION REQUESTS
Inspection requests must be submitted by 4:00 PM for the next available inspection day. Requests received after 4:00 PM may be scheduled for the following business day.
Inspection availability may be affected by weekends, holidays, staffing levels, workload demands, weather conditions, or other operational factors.

CITY HOLIDAYS AND OFFICE CLOSURES
The Online Permit Center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, application processing, inspections, and staff responses may be delayed during City holidays and office closures. Please refer to the City's official holiday schedule for current closure information.
