NEW APPLICATIONS:

New applications are available on the website and in the portal, we are no longer accepting the old applications.

Commercial Permits cannot be submitted through the portal, please email us at  building@cityoffernley.org If the permit application is not listed here, you cannot submit that type of permit on the online portal

INSPECTION REQUESTS:

ALL inspection requests must be submitted by 4:00PM, requests that are received after 4:00PM will be pushed to the next day. Inspection request can be requested through the portal or by email: inspections@cityoffernley.org 

 Please note we are available for inspections Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM to 3:30PM. On Fridays we are available from 9:30AM to 3:30PM.

HOLIDAYS:

Please keep the holidays in mind when visiting our office or scheduling inspections. We are closed for the following holidays:

January: New Years, Martin Luther King Day Jr

February: Presidents Day,

May: Memorial Day

June: Juneteenth,

July: Independence Day

September: Labor Day

October: Nevada Day

November: Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving

December: Christmas and the day after Christmas
